Most likely the problem is the Google toolbar. For some reason this prevents the javascript animations from stoping. To temporaily disable it in Internet Explorer Click View --> Toolbars and then unselect "Google"

Most likely you are "caching" the old image in your browser. Two
ways of fixing this are as follows. The first is to completely exit
the browser to flush the cached images. Second, hold the "shift" key down
while clicking on a product, this forces a reload of the product.
The same issues can come up with loops. Check your cache settings
in your browser's preferences for additional information.
